As co-founder of El Museo, Curator, Executive Director, and now Board President, Craig has worked for 40 years to affirm the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our field. And there is much more left to do.
Today, arts and cultural work has become increasingly subject to market forces and reliant on private money, and resources for frontline arts organizations continue to decline. We reiterate Craig’s call for the pursuit of social justice, both in and outside the arts.
