A statement from El Museo:
We are saddened and dismayed by the events unfolding in Buffalo and across the country. We stand in solidarity with our Black friends, colleagues, and neighbors, and with all people calling for justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and so many others. It is outrageous that people protesting against systemic racism and police brutality have been met with yet more violence and repression. We know there is much more work to be done, and are committed to being part of that change. Black lives matter.
