OPEN MIC en el Barrio

We are SO EXCITED to announce our OPEN MIC en el BARRIO monthly poetry series! Coming off the very successful Barrio Poetry Slam! collaboration with Shea’s 710 Theatre, we have decided to keep the creativity going en la comunidad by offering a space for Latino/a/x/e poets and supporters. Spanish/español, English/ingles, Bilingual/bilingüe, Spanglish – we accept it all! Poetry/Poesia every 3rd Thursday of every month. Start time is at 7 pm, sign up starts at 6:45 pm. Musical guests/DJs every night because that’s how we do it. Ladb Buffalo can’t wait to host our first night at El Museo on January 15 with Los Artista’s very own poesia Rey Julio M Valentin and La Doctora Michele Agosto. Make sure to put this first night on your calendars! It may be a cold night in Buffalo, but we will make the evening muy caliente  WEPA!
