Extra Credit: “100×35?”

  • September 19, 2019

Wilbert Ramos, Mixed Feelings, 2018, acrylic on canvas.

Join us Saturday, September 21, 2019, 7–9pm, for “100×35?”, a two-part event that marks the closing of our current exhibition with Los Artistas del Barrio.

The event will open with a conversation moderated by Bryan Lee with exhibiting artists Michele Agosto, Matthew Bosque, Melinda Capeles, Aileen Gonzalez-Marti, Wilbert Ramos, William Rodriguez, and Arayoan Tylec, on their conceptions of Puerto Rican identity, their relationships with the island, and how these questions relate to their art. Following the conversation will be a closing performance.

Extra Credit is an ongoing event series where exhibiting artists can interact with their audiences in a more intimate setting, and explore topics or themes related to their work. The event is free and open to the public.
