Since 1981 El Museo has presented the artistic voices of Western New York’s diverse communities to the public and has occupied a very special place in Buffalo’s nationally recognized cultural scene. Each year our gallery presents professionally curated exhibitions of contemporary fine art of emerging, mid-career, and established regional, national and international artists of color who make a unique contribution to the visual arts through their sculptures, photographs, paintings and installations.  El Museo also presents humanities exhibitions of special interest to our mission.

El Museo is located in historic Allentown and easily accessible by car, bus and Metro Rail with ample street parking and lot parking behind our building accessible through Delaware Avenue. We are excited about our upcoming calendar and hope to see you this year!
