Join us for a presentation by Ruby Orcutt to mark the closing of her exhibition, Soul Praxis. In addition to her art background, Orcutt is also a practicing mental health counselor. For this event, she will give an overview of the field of positive psychology and its conceptual frameworks, as well as strategies to apply its research insights to our daily lives.
Extra Credit is an ongoing event series where exhibiting artists can interact with their audiences in a more intimate setting, and explore topics or themes related to their work. It is open to the public ($5 suggested donation) and free for El Museo members.
