20 years in Allentown: Exhibition and silent auction

Don Gregorio Antón, VIDA (Life), 2017, hammered infused aluminum print, 11″x17″.

This October marks El Museo’s 20 years in our Allentown storefront space at 91 Allen Street! To commemorate this occasion, we are pleased to present a special exhibition and silent auction of works by a sample of artists who have shown here in the past two decades.

The exhibition and bidding opens First Friday, October 6, at 7pm. The auction closing reception on Saturday, October 14, at 7pm, will also be a retirement party for co-founder and longtime Executive Director Dr. Craig Centrie, who is stepping down this year. Please join us for this once-in-a-lifetime celebration!

Proceeds from the auction will support El Museo’s ongoing programming, as we continue our mission to provide a space for underserved artists to engage diverse communities through their work.
