Bandaid Pink is a collection of work from the past year that the artist, Ali Lazik, worked on for their MFA at University At Buffalo. This collection is much to do with the lack of control we have over our bodies, in more ways than one. Through these pieces, including a (potentially) decipherable coding that she created. Ali has gained a small amount of control over what can be processed and understood instantly, and what is delayed or requires work to be put in by the viewer to “get” the “whole scene”.
